Do I need to own the software
to enrol on one of the courses?
Remote courses - No you do not need to own the software to enrol. You can connect to my pc to use my software.
On site courses - No you do not need to own the software. We can present on a large screen or TV.
What equipment do I
need to enrol?
Remote courses - Ideally you would have a laptop or desktop pc with a large screen. You can use a laptop and attach a TV screen with an HDMI cable.
If you only have an Apple computer this is ok! It works best to connect a windows Bluetooth mouse and keyboard.
Can I have training face-to-face?
Yes. We can always come to where you are.
We have a fee for on site training and a travel fee depending on your location. Training can be at your business or home.
What criteria do I need to
meet to enrol on a course?
English speaking
You need to have some basic knowledge of computers.
We do require that you have some experience using Microsoft Windows, Windows explorer and using a mouse (left and right clicking)
There are lots of free tutorials online explaining the basics. Some of you that have only ever used an Apple computer might find them quite useful.
Can I video the course?
Filming or making a video of any of the sessions is strictly prohibited. This is illegal and is a violation of GDPR regulations.
Which course is right for me?
With the 1-to-1 Gerber AccuMark Beginners course you will get the full time devoted to you and your learning experience. If we come to you then you can learn in your own environment. Some people prefer this especially business'.
The 1-to-1 remote Beginners course is perfect for individuals who want to advance their pattern skills to the digital world. Whether you are experienced with many years experience making patterns or you are just out of university this is highly recommended. If you feel you don't want to be in a group of others learning slightly at different speeds and need to go at your own pace then this is the one for you.
Gerber AccuMark Group course is the cheapest way to learn Gerber AccuMark. This is a remote course. With a small group of 3 (yourself and 2 others) you get slightly more time than the 1-to-1 sessions. This allows time for us to help each of you to complete the tasks at your own speed.
Ad-hoc Training is for people that have used Gerber before and need
some training but the full Beginners course.
Ad-hoc Training can also for anyone who wants additional training after the Beginners course.
